Varsity did very well against some excellent teams at the Surf Sun & Stix 2006 tournament this Saturday, March 18th, and advanced to the Quarterfinals.
TPHS stats in the Pool C Bracket:
  TPHS vs. Westview 9-1, goals by Claire (4), Tori, Allie, Becky, Katie, Chelsea C., 1 save by goalie Jenny.
  TPHS vs. St. Ignatius 6-7, goals by Claire (4), Tori Katie, 4 saves by Jenny.
  TPHS vs. Preuss 10-1, goals by Claire (3), Becky (2), Stephie, Audrey, Linda, Tori, and Sofia, 2 saves by Jenny.
Quarterfinal, TPHS vs. Miramonte 2-3, goals by Katie and Claire, 3 saves by goalie Jenny.

Miramonte went on to play in the Final, losing to Coronado 8-3.  St. Ignatius, another team in our bracket, played through to the Semi-Finals losing to Coronado. The Varsity Falcons lost to Miramonte and St. Ignatius by only one goal.
